This email is being sent to players that signed up for Tournaments and Leagues on the CTL website http://www.tennisladder.com over the last 3 months or so. I CC'd the CTL board also.

Proposed Tournament Draws were posted here (http://www.tennisladder.com) . If you don't understand the Draws, can't read them, no longer want to play or if this is not what you thought you signed up for or if some mischievous person signed you up and you don't want to play, please reply.

If you can read and understand the Draws and would still like to play, please contact your opponent as soon as possible and play your first match. If you email ctlad@yahoo.com before the match starts, I can post when and where the match is being played on the web site.

To encourage players not to drop out and if there are no objections, I would like to give the winners of all Draws a yo-yo ($5 value). And if there are no objections, I'd like to call these tournaments The CTL Aug-Sep Yo-Yo Tournaments.

Leagues: I did not set up any League Schedules because I don't have much luck with Leagues. Players usually stop playing after one(1) or zero(0) matches. But if you want to play in Leagues, please let me know. I'll GLADLY set up schedules. And if nobody objects, I'd like to offer a $5 yo-yo to players that play all of their matches! So if 2 people sign up, all they have to do is play one match and they get a yo-yo.

Perhaps I use the wrong word for Leagues and people don't understand what they sign up for. Maybe I should call them Multi-Day Round Robins. The way these Leagues work is that you (or you and your doubles partner) play all other players or doubles teams in your League. You should try to complete each match in 10 days or less. There won't be more than 5 players or teams in a league.

Thank you,

Rich Majewski
